PAY RANGE$14.00 - $15.00 per hour, Depending on Experience
WORK SCHEDULEFlexible schedule between Monday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., may work up to 19 hours per week.
DRESS CODECasual wear with appropriate coverage
POSITION PURPOSE/ROLESupports the Bookstore and/or supervisor
POSITION DUTIES- Provides quality customer services to all Bookstore customers and visitors by approaching and greeting them and offering assistance
- Performs cashier functions
- Cleans Bookstore area and maintains general cleanliness, and stocks shelves
- May perform other like duties
- Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester, and
- Previous cashiering experience, and
- Ability to work with a minimal level of supervision as well as in a team environment, and
- Ability to be self-motivated, and
- Ability to consistently provide quality customer service to customers, visitors and coworkers and
- Ability to problem-solve and follow directions, and be self-motivated, and
- Possesses a cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, students and the public

STUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment.
- Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester.
- Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media.
- Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule, effective communication/interpersonal skills, and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC.
