General Manager

We’re looking for the person who will run Big Moose Roofing day‑to‑day so I can focus on marketing and opening new markets.

Big Moose Roofing is a premium residential roofing company in the Flathead Valley, MT. We replace roofs and install windows for homeowners who care about quality and communication. Our mission:

I’m hiring a General Manager whose entire job is that my phone never rings about day‑to‑day ops. You’ll own the machine from lead handed to sales through 5‑star review and cash collected.

I will continue to own marketing and high‑level strategy. You will own:

• Location P&L
• Sales, install/ops, and admin performance
• Hiring, firing, coaching, and culture
• Customer experience and issue resolution
• Hitting our revenue and profit targets without drama

Compensation:

• Profit‑based bonus tied to location performance, paid quarterly
• Realistic range once ramped is $150,000–$+ when the business performs
• Relocation support to the Flathead Valley for the right person

Who this is for:

• 7–15 years in home services / construction (roofing, exteriors, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
• You’ve run or heavily influenced a $5M–$15M P&L with both sales and ops under you
• You're currently a GM, ops manager, or integrator
• You like owning the scoreboard: revenue, gross margin, net profit, NPS/5‑star reviews
• You can hire, develop, and, when needed, exit people like an adult

Timing:

I’m intentionally starting the search early . Ideal start is Spring / early Summer , and I want time to have real conversations, run multiple rounds, and make sure this is the right mutual fit.
