Essential Functions – Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to ensure the needs of the business are met.

• 30% Associate Discount across Caleres’s retail stores – Famous Footwear, Naturalizer, Sam Edelman, and Allen Edmonds.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Some retail store management experience or equivalent.
• Experience motivating a team toward shared goals.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and communicate direction set by the store manager.
• Mentoring and training associates on selling and operational processes.
• A flexible schedule that includes holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

• Lift up to 40 lbs from floor level to above shoulder height with appropriate equipment.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
• Knowledgeable in general retail practices that keep operations running smoothly.
• Team player who encourages associates and achieves goals together.
• Manage multiple tasks with a positive attitude and communicate the manager’s game plan.
• Mentor and train associates on selling and operational processes.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
