Store Associate - Production & Sales Floor

We are looking for a STORE ASSOCIATE to provide excellent customer service and meet sales requirements for our thrift stores. This is a part‑time position with an hourly pay rate of $16.00.

• Receiving donations, sorting, hanging clothes, pricing, stocking sales floor, arranging merchandise in displays.
• Cash register operation, accurate money handling, processing credit cards, and helping carry out purchased merchandise.
• Maintaining communication with staff, volunteers, and customers while keeping the store clean and organized with excellent customer service.
• Adhering to uniform, cell phone, break, and smoking policies.
• Performing any other duties assigned by a Store Manager or Store Supervisor.

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Retail or thrift experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cash handling and cashier procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a spirit of cooperation.
• Self‑starter with the ability to problem‑solve or seek assistance when needed.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional, courteous, and respectful customer‑service mindset.
• Strong knowledge of cash controls and cashier procedures including credit‑card sales and vouchers.
• Ability to work with the public in a professional manner that is courteous and respectful.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain poise under pressure.
• General knowledge of business protocols for safe, efficient operations.
• Ability and willingness to keep information confidential and produce written information such as donation receipts.
• Ability to pass a TSA background check.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods on a hard floor.
• Ability to continuously grasp, push, pull objects, and reach overhead.
• Ability to repetitively lift 35 to 50 lbs.
