Responsibilities
- Coordinate all daily crew activities to maximize productivity and quality
- Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors
- Utilization of HCSS Heavy Job to track daily quantities, use of production reports and daily timecards
- Monitor layout, placement, compaction of asphalt materials and assure quality of working in all aspects of lay down operations
- Verify measurements, slope and thickness for compliance of specifications
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor
- Minimum of 5 years construction experience with and emphasis on asphalt paving
- Valid driver's license but a CDL is a preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Assure all safety procedures are followed
- Ability to work flexible shifts which include day, nights, some weekends. Some travel is required.
