We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions for the resort. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, structure, and the opportunity to work in a close-knit, collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate accounting records across all resort departments
Perform daily POS and payment reconciliation
Ensure revenue is recorded accurately across multiple revenue streams
Reconcile General Ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close
Process Accounts Payable including vendor invoices and payments
Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing and collections
Perform bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare recurring financial, operational, and gratuity reports
Maintain integrity of accounting systems and chart of accounts
Assist with audits and compliance requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online
Experience in hospitality or multi-revenue environments preferred
Familiarity with POS systems
Strong Excel and financial data skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
