Position: Cost Accountant for TrueNorth Infrastructure
Drive project financial management at True North Sustainable Infrastructure in Kamloops, BC as a Cost Accountant. Your expertise in construction and project-based accounting is essential for tracking costs and ensuring accuracy.

True North is seeking a Cost Accountant to support financial operations across various infrastructure projects. In this role, you will manage project costs, process invoices, and maintain precise job records. Collaborating with project managers and external accountants, you’ll ensure financial data is organized and updated for multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

• Track project expenses and contractor invoices

• Maintain job cost records for project tracking

• Support monthly and year-end financial reporting

• Assist with GST/PST and regulatory filings

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience

• Experience in construction or project-based sectors

• Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
