Position: Project-Based Accountant at TrueNorth

This role demands active support for accounting functions related to various construction initiatives. You will manage day-to-day activities including financial record maintenance, cost tracking, and reporting assistance on pivotal projects. Collaborate closely with project teams to optimize financial workflows and uphold reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable

• Maintain organized financial documentation and records

• Assist in monthly and year-end reporting

• Monitor project expenses and job cost records

• Collaborate on payroll administration tasks

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting is preferred

• 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Familiarity with Xero and Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
