Position: Early Career Accountant at Dawson Group

As an early career Accountant, you will collaborate with the Corporate Controller and the accounting team to manage fundamental accounting tasks and identify efficiencies. This role requires proficiency in full cycle accounting, GL reconciliations, and preparation of government returns, all within a supportive team environment that fosters professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end closing and related accounting tasks

• Manage GL account and inter-company reconciliations

• Implement process improvements through technology

• Prepare bank reconciliations and adjusting entries

• Assist in system implementation and workflow automation

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant coursework in Accounting or related field

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Experience with full cycle accounting

• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables

• Interest in process improvement and AI tools
