Bookkeeping and Tax Associate

Apply bookkeeping and tax skills as an Associate with North Star Ledgers in Kamloops, BC, supporting accurate client financial records and filings.
This part-time Associate position is expected to become full-time within three to four months. You will support Business Advisors with transaction recording, reconciliations, financial reporting, tax preparation, planning, and compliance. Client communication and collaboration with fractional CFO strategists are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

Record transactions and reconcile client accounts accurately
Maintain complete financial records for clients
Gather documentation and organize client information
Support tax filings under senior team guidance
Clarify information and respond to client inquiries
Requirements:
Foundational bookkeeping and accounting skills
Knowledge of personal and small business tax concepts
Comfort using accounting, tax, and productivity software
