Support the Kamloops Sports Council as an Office Administrator & Bookkeeping Assistant, mixing administrative duties with financial organization in a full-time, in-person position.
This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in organizing office systems and managing financial records. Tasks include coordinating meetings, maintaining office supplies, and assisting with budgeting and reconciliations. A proactive approach and effective communication skills will be essential for connecting with community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily administrative functions and support community programs
• Organize meetings, correspondence, and document preparation
• Assist with bookkeeping and tracking financial records
• Ensure accurate inventory and office maintenance
• Serve as a point of contact for community inquiries
Requirements:
• Certificate in office administration, bookkeeping, or related field preferred
• Experience in administrative and bookkeeping roles preferred
• Awareness of non-profit or community organizations is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quick Books Online required
• High attention to detail and organizational skills needed
