Job Summary
The TeamThe Corrections Branch plays a leading role in the criminal justice system by protecting the community through offender management and control. Adult Custody Centres are under one of two divisions of the Corrections Branch and are 24 x 7 operations, with complex shift management, and provide custodial supervision for adults sentenced to incarceration and those remanded to custody.
The RoleThe Staffing Manager Assistant provides service in general administration, victim notification, federal billing, purchasing and inventory, and staffing.
QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year administrative support/clerical experience. An equivalent combination of related education, experience and/or training may be considered.
- Experience with MS Office computer applications such as Word and Excel.
- Two (2) years general office administrative experience.
- Office Administration Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience with victim notification and/or inmate administration.
- Experience using CAS, TLAM, and/or CORNET.
- Experience working in a Correctional Centre or similar type of environment.

- Class 5 driver's licence required.
