Join a compassionate team as a Funeral Service Assistant in Kamloops, BC. This role focuses on administrative support, client interaction, and preparation for funeral services.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help support grieving families, including preparing documents, assisting with services, and ensuring compassionate communication at all times. Your duties will also encompass logistics such as driving funeral vehicles and coordinating setups for visitations and memorials, all while adhering to company policies and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare for service setups, including floral and personal items
• Answer phone calls and greet client families
• Assist in handling and preparing the deceased
• Drive company vehicles for family transportation needs
• Provide refreshments during services where permitted
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred customer service experience
• Valid BC driver's license with an acceptable record
• Proficiency in MS Office and similar technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
