Service Advisor

Fountain Tire Kamloops Downtown (690 Landsdowne Street) is an established automotive repair shop, looking for a friendly and dedicated Service Advisor.

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings, then communicating them to the technicians
• Providing service quotes, obtaining customer authorization for work, finalizing sales, and completing customer follow‑up
• Making proactive calls to customers to determine satisfaction with the service received
• Recommending tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
• Ensuring all products are billed accurately to the customer and processing necessary information in the computer system
• Keeping promotional material updated in the showroom
• Participating in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire for customers and staff, on the road, site, or field
• Completing assigned e‑learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies described in learning modules
• Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

• Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset
• Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck, and specialty tires and mechanical services
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
