Project Coordinator

Our client, a well-established civil construction contractor delivering civil infrastructure projects across Western Canada, is looking to add a Project Coordinator (Cost Control) to their Kamloops head office team.

This role will work directly with the Senior Project Manager, with a primary focus on project costing and cost control across multiple active civil projects.

• Support the Senior Project Manager with project costing, cost tracking, and budget control.
• Maintain and update cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Track commitments, purchase orders, invoices, and subcontract costs.
• Assist with change management, including pricing, tracking, and documentation of changes.
• Support project reporting and ensure accurate, up-to‑date cost documentation.
• Work closely with project and site teams to ensure costs are captured correctly and on time.

• Experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Controls role within civil or heavy civil construction.
• Strong exposure to project costing and cost control on active construction projects.
• Comfortable working closely with a Senior PM and supporting day‑to‑day financial tracking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Excel; experience with construction cost control systems is an asset.
