Position: Construction Safety Officer with Norpac

As a key member of Norpac's safety team, you will collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to uphold safety standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the company's safety program and ensuring all projects meet regulatory compliance, particularly with WorkSafeBC. The ideal candidate will excel in both field and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop company-wide safety objectives and procedures

• Maintain COR certification and safety audit programs

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits

• Oversee emergency preparedness and incident response

• Mentor safety coordinators and support their training

Requirements:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field

• 3+ years construction safety experience with leadership roles

• Valid Occupational First Aid certification is an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety software

• Strong communication and risk management skills
