Location: Revelstoke
Become a key player in safety at Kindred Construction as a Safety Advisor focused on active construction projects in British Columbia. This site-based role emphasizes monitoring compliance and promoting HSE practices on-site.
As a Safety Advisor reporting to the HSE Manager, you'll support safe construction operations across active sites.
Your role involves daily monitoring of field conditions, site inspections, and promoting adherence to WorkSafeBC regulations. You'll also communicate safety performance and incident trends while fostering strong professional relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily operations and trade activities on-site
• Conduct job site inspections and submit reports
• Communicate safety performance to management
• Administer the HSE Program, encouraging participation
• Develop and deliver safety orientations for new employees
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year as a Safety Advisor or similar role
• Valid CSO certification recognized in British Columbia
• Advanced First Aid or current OFA 3 ticket
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
