Position: Site-Based Safety Advisor at Kindred Construction
Location: Revelstoke

Become the on-site Safety Advisor for Kindred Construction, supporting active projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role emphasizes monitoring, collaboration, and proactive safety management on-site.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, the Safety Advisor plays a crucial role in maintaining safety across various active construction sites. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations, advanced first aid certification, and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions. You will have a hands-on approach, working closely with trades and subcontractors to foster a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site duties during all construction phases

• Monitor daily operations and ensure compliance

• Administer and promote the HSE Program

• Conduct safety orientations for new workers

• Investigate incidents and provide preventive measures

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year as a Safety Advisor or similar

• Valid CSO certification for British Columbia

• Advanced First Aid or OFA 3 certification

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication skills
