Take on a vital role with Ledcor as a Versatile Equipment Operator in Merritt, BC, supporting the Teck Greenfield Project. Contribute to multiple operations while ensuring a safe work environment.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for operating a wide range of heavy equipment, including backhoes and dozers, while also performing excavation, material hauling, and grading activities. We seek reliable operators who can adapt to different tasks and ensure high standards of safety and quality on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of heavy construction equipment

• Perform excavation and material handling tasks

• Conduct pre-trip inspections for operational readiness

• Assist with construction duties as required

• Maintain clean and functional equipment at all times

Requirements:

• Proven heavy equipment operation experience

• Valid driver’s license and passing of drug tests

• Background in heavy civil construction is a plus

• Strong understanding of site grading and plans

• Ability to work under all weather conditions
