Position: Labourer Needed at Dawson Civil
Dawson Civil is seeking dedicated Labourers to support construction groundwork efficiently. This full-time, temporary role requires independent work in Kamloops, BC with travel across the province.

As a Labourer, you will report to the Foreman and play a crucial role in delivering valued service. We are looking for someone with excellent teamwork and communication skills, coupled with a strong understanding of civil construction. Your duties involve preparation, excavation, concrete mixing, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload construction materials as necessary

• Assist in installing sewer and water systems

• Understand bedding and compaction processes

• Cut, bevel, and connect pipes accurately

• Assemble and install shoring in excavations

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years in civil construction

• Experience in carpentry is beneficial

• Familiarity with pipe types and fittings

• Understanding of excavation shoring and sloping needs

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
