Position: Project Coordinator for Housing Renovations

Contribute to community growth with the Lower Nicola Indian Band as a Project Coordinator for Housing Renovations in Merritt, British Columbia. This full-time position emphasizes compliance and efficient project delivery.

In this role, you’ll provide administrative and financial support for housing renovations, ensuring that all projects meet LNIB policies and funding criteria. Your experience will help in managing multiple projects and maintaining meticulous records for successful outcomes, enhancing the living environment for community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain renovation project records

• Track approved budgets and project expenditures

• Perform site visits to assess progress and compliance

• Coordinate with contractors and staff for project management

• Prepare documentation and reports for funding partners

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years in residential construction or renovations

• Familiarity with BC Building Code and housing standards

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with construction tools

• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications

• Clean driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
