Advise operations regarding Ledcor's Health and Safety Management System
Monitor compliance with jurisdictional regulatory requirements
Assists in the coordination and completion of safe work procedures, hazard assessments, safety inspections, focus audits, and incident investigations
Provide support to site leadership in the preparation of site-specific material for safety meetings and toolbox talks
Develop and enhance Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practice documents
Requirements 5+ years of related work experience in heavy civil, mining, or related industry
Must hold a CRSP, Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, CSO or NCSO designation
Technical knowledge of common construction practices, techniques, and equipment within the Pipeline Construction and/or Pipeline Maintenance Industries
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to the hourly workforce
Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, program development, safety & health training, and accident investigation
Strong computer competency including experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must have and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license and driver's abstract
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Health and Safety Management Systems, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements in the construction and mining industries. Proficient in developing safety procedures and conducting inspections to ensure a safe work environment.
