Senior HSE Coordinator Project

Lead health and safety initiatives as a Senior HSE Coordinator at Bird Construction in Kamloops, BC. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and foster a proactive safety culture on-site.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will focus on compliance with the Bird Construction Industrial Health, Safety, and Environment Management Program among other occupational safety legislations. Your experience as a Senior HSE Coordinator will drive site leadership in promoting safety practices and mentoring field personnel. You will also be responsible for hazard documentation and incident reporting on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with site leadership to promote safety culture

• Coach and mentor field personnel on HSE practices

• Ensure documentation of site hazards and incidents

• Lead safety meetings and support action items

• Conduct work site inspections in compliance

Requirements:

• NCSO designation required

• 5+ years of HSE field experience

• Valid Driver’s License

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation
