Civil Construction Draftsperson

Nhwelmen Construction seeks a Draftsperson/Technologist for heavy civil projects in Kamloops, British Columbia. Contribute your skills in creating accurate construction drawings and aligning with project managers to ensure successful deliveries.

As part of our growing team, you’ll support civil construction initiatives by preparing 2D and 3D drawings while utilizing your understanding of heavy civil construction and survey data. This role demands effective communication and strong detail orientation, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced construction setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D infrastructure drawings

• Produce construction documents as per specifications

• Integrate survey data into CAD models

• Ensure accuracy through quality checks

• Promote safe work practices and adherence to standards

Requirements:

• Clean Class 5 driver’s license required

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D

• Strong understanding of civil construction documents

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and organizational skills
