Our client is a well established services organization seeking a Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to join their team in a highly visible, multi-functional role supporting a small branch operation. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in being the person who keeps the office organized and running smoothly.
This is not a traditional call centre position. The successful candidate will support customer service, dispatch coordination, office administration, and operational activities while working closely with drivers, operations staff, and sales teams.
The ideal person will be self motivated, organized, adaptable, and bring a positive attitude to a close knit team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and solution-oriented manner
- Coordinate service requests and support dispatch related activities
- Assist with scheduling, routing coordination, and operational communication
- Maintain customer records, process account updates, and support billing inquiries
- Support office administration including filing, documentation, and general branch coordination
- Work collaboratively with operations, drivers, and sales teams to resolve issues and support daily activities
- Assist other branch locations or team members when required
- Maintain a professional and positive customer experience during all interactions
- 2+ years of customer service, dispatch, administration, or operational support experience
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems and software platforms
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Experience in transportation, logistics, industrial services, utilities, construction, or related industries is considered an asset
