BDO is hiring an Insolvency Advisor for its Kelowna office, emphasizing personal debt solutions. This role involves assessing client needs, assisting with bankruptcies, and engaging in community initiatives for service promotion.
In this position within the Personal Debt Solution team, you will conduct initial assessments of debtors' situations and guide them on suitable options. Your ability to build positive relationships will support both debtors and creditors through consultations, outreach, and social media engagement. BDO prioritizes a collaborative and growth-focused environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive initial consultations for clients
• Assist debtors and creditors regarding bankruptcy and proposals
• Review documentation and prepare files for client signatures
• Lead community outreach and business development efforts
• Promote personal debt solutions via social media
Requirements:
• Over 2 years in customer service or financial services
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with strong time management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Availability for one evening shift each week
