The Medical Imaging department at Royal Inland Hospital is a collaborative team of 9 radiologists and 1 nuclear medicine physician, providing comprehensive services in x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound (GE), CT (Siemens Dual Source Flash x2), MRI (recently upgraded 1.5T GE), digital mammography, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, and interventional radiology. Our department is fully digital,
utilizing McKesson PACS and Fluency voice recognition dictation software.

There is a one-year track to full associate. We are excited to add a passionate and hardworking radiologist to our team dership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.

Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Radiology
Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Salary Range:
Fee-for-service plus MOCAP level 1

Relocation:
Relocation reimbursement of up to $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada (with eligible, detailed receipts). Relocation incentives are subject to change, and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), a 273-bed facility, serves as the primary referral centre for nearly 250,000 individuals within the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap Health Service Area. The Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower, a $417-million expansion opened in the summer of 2022, has propelled RIH into a new healthcare era, featuring advanced mental health units and surgical services. In 2024, we completed our new post-anesthetic recovery room and pediatric unit, while revamping the emergency entrance – with the department’s full completion on track for
autumn 2026. Further ambitious growth includes a $359-million cancer centre, set to enrich our cancer care services by 2028.
