We are able to practice to the scope of our specialty; our nursery cares for babies 30-weeks and up. There are  births a year for which we primarily in a consultative role. We are well supported by a local OB Internal Medicine service and the Diabetes Education Program. We each average two to three surgical days per month, in addition to outpatient ambulatory care procedure time.

Our department is proud to support the UBC Physician Training at the MSIA Level, the FP Resident Level and the OB/GYN R4 Level.

• Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
• Doctorate in Medicine
• Obstetric experience
• Full licensure with CPSBC;
  Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Hours of work:
Full-Time
On call requirements: approximately 1:8

APP contract for all hospital based obstetrics and unscheduled gynecology, prorated $7117 per 24h. On-call 1:8. FFS for scheduled gynecology and office practice. Total combined (APP & FFS) annual estimated salary range of ~ $600,000.

Relocation Assistance:
Applicable for 1.0 FTE positions, $9,000 - $15,000 based on move location (with eligible receipts). Incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer.
