Hillside Centre, located near Royal Inland Hospital, is seeking a Psychiatrist to oversee Geriatric care. The candidate will be part of a dedicated team, including nurses and therapists, ensuring comprehensive psychiatric treatment. This role emphasizes teamwork to deliver effective patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage 12 in-patient Geriatric psychiatric beds
• Collaborate with nurses and social workers
• Work alongside occupational and recreational therapists
• Provide psychiatric assessments and treatments
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
Requirements:
• Experience in adult psychiatric care
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of Geriatric psychiatric practices
• Relevant medical qualifications in psychiatry
• Capacity to work in a hospital environment
