DISTRICT ITINERANT TEACHERS
FTE Temporary part-time Learning Enhancement Teachers Teaching position, 3 positions available, beginning immediately to June 30, 2026.
Learning Enhancement Teachers (Coaches) work in collaboration with both enrolling and non-enrolling teachers, administrators, and educational assistants to support student learning.
Duties as assigned within this role include, but are not limited to, instructional planning (with classroom teachers), modeling direct instruction to students, co‑teaching with classroom teachers, assessment of student learning, modeling classroom management and routines, providing program implementation strategies for IEP goals, contributing to student assessment documents, reporting processes — including Learning Updates (modelling best practice).
Required Qualifications- Training and experience working with grade‑level students.
- Experience with adapting materials, resources, assessments, and learning outcomes for student needs.
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the BC Curriculum.
- Teaching category five or higher.
- A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.
- Experience/training in supporting the social‑emotional learning needs of students.
- Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students.

The starting annual salary for this full-time teacher position ranges from $60,090 - $109,520 , with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
