This position within the Heartwood Learning Communities allows you to work with grades K-6, focusing on outdoor and place-based education. You will provide face-to-face instruction while collaborating with a team to enhance learning outcomes. Your dedication to multi-age educational practices will empower students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach outdoor-focused blended learning to K-6 students

• Support families and students during home learning periods

• Design and share online learning resources and tools

• Facilitate community-based educational activities

• Engage in assessment for learning practices and e-portfolios

Requirements:

• Certification or significant experience in blended education in BC

• Wilderness First Aid is an asset

• Experience in teaching multi-grade and diverse learners

• Proficiency with educational technology platforms

• Passion for inclusivity and community engagement
