Position: Early Childhood Educator Relief Staff
Become an Early Childhood Educator Relief Staff with School District No. 73 in Kamloops and help nurture the growth of young children. This opportunity offers a variety of experiences across different programs.

In this role, you will step in for regular educators in programs like Strong Start and Pre-School, providing essential support for children aged 0-5 years. The position requires a valid ECE license and serves as a chance to impact students’ learning journeys while gaining insight into various educational settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily curriculum activities and needs

• Plan and facilitate innovative learning programs

• Prepare materials and healthy snacks for children

• Guide communication with parents through newsletters

• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and two-year Early Childhood Education diploma

• Licensed ECE Senior Practitioner with current credentials

• Prior experience with children aged 0-5 in schools

• Mandatory First Aid and CPR training

• Driver’s License required for travel
