Elevate students' potential as a Para educator in Bethel School District, focusing on Title I and LAP support. This role emphasizes direct assistance in academics and behavior for at-risk students.
In this position, you will work 6.5 hours daily, providing critical support to certificated staff. You'll assist students individually and in small groups, maintain accurate records, and prepare necessary materials for lessons. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet specific educational qualifications, including passing assessments or holding a higher degree.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in small group settings
• Maintain program compliance and accurate records
• Prepare classroom materials as directed
• Communicate student progress to staff
• Supervise and manage student behavior
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Certification or assessment completion needed
• Experience with children in educational settings preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain records
