Location: Chase

Support children's growth as an Inclusive Education Specialist at Sk’atsin Child Care Centre in Chase, BC. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, one-on-one assistance for children with diverse abilities.

In this critical position, you will work within a collaborative team structure to develop inclusive programming that meets the needs of each child. Implementing Individual Program Plans and ensuring a trauma-informed environment are central to guiding children’s positive social interactions and emotional development. Strong collaborative skills are essential to work effectively with families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist children with additional needs individually or in small groups

• Collaborate with ECE team to design inclusive educational activities

• Implement tailored support strategies developed with families

• Maintain documentation reflecting children's developmental progress

• Promote culturally safe and responsive practices within the centre

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Educator Certificate or relevant ECE experience

• Additional certifications in special needs education

• Previous experience in early childhood settings

• Strong understanding of child development principles

• Valid First Aid & CPR certification required
