Writing Tutor at Success Centre

Elevate student success as a Writing Tutor at the Success Centre. Collaborate with faculty and engage students through diverse academic support and workshops.

We are seeking a capable Writing Tutor to enhance the learning experience for students across various programs. This role involves providing personalized tutoring, promoting student engagement in workshops and events, and demonstrating a commitment to equity and inclusion within a supportive community. Responsibilities will include collaborating with the Enrolment Services team and fostering relationships across the institute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized tutoring and academic support for students

• Collaborate with Student Success Centre and faculty

• Support student engagement in workshops and events

• Maintain the Success Centre's cleanliness and functionality

• Facilitate academic workshops and invigilate exams

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English

• Understanding of Universal Design and Special Education

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and languages

• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexible to work on weekdays, evenings, and weekends
