Position: Full-Time French Immersion Teacher

Impact student learning as a full-time Secondary Teacher in French Immersion with Rocky Mountain School District No. 6. Teach diverse subjects effectively in a collaborative environment.

This continuing position starts September 8, 2026, requiring a BC Teaching Certificate. You will engage secondary students in Français 8-12 and Sciences humaines, alongside elective courses taught in French. Strong communication skills in both English and French are essential, along with effective assessment techniques that address diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction in French and related subjects

• Assess student learning through innovative practices

• Collaborate with colleagues to meet all student needs

• Communicate effectively with students and parents

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Relevant university teaching major
