Ideal for a high school student, this temporary, full-time position focuses on providing leadership in the Tkek Yeel Stem Camp. You will engage with campers by planning activities, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and communicating with staff and community partners. Your contributions will help shape a positive environment for youth learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement summer camp programs
• Ensure campers’ safety and well-being
• Assist with hiring Traditional Knowledge Keepers
• Organize community engagement events
• Create promotional materials for camp activities
Requirements:
• Current high school student (Grade 11 or below)
• First aid certification required
• Lifeguard certification beneficial
• Experience working with children, especially in Indigenous contexts
• Criminal Record Check required
