Job Summary

1.0 FTE Temporary full‑time Student Support (SST) teaching position, beginning September 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026, or the return of the incumbent.

• Training and experience working with grade‑level students.
• Experience adapting materials, resources, assessments, and learning outcomes for student needs.
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the BC Curriculum.
• Teaching category five or higher.

• A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.
• Experience/training in supporting the social‑emotional learning needs of students.
• Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students.

The starting annual salary for this full‑time teacher position ranges from $64,664 to $112,806, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
