Position: Intermediate Teacher for French Immersion
Location: Golden

Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 is hiring a part-time Intermediate Teacher for the French Immersion program. This temporary appointment is effective from September 8, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Ideal candidates must hold a BC Teaching Certificate or be eligible for one. A relevant university teaching major and demonstrated experience in an intermediate classroom setting are required. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and possess a strong understanding of assessment techniques to meet diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate French Immersion curriculum for intermediate students

• Collaborate with teachers to address learner needs

• Utilize diverse instructional and assessment methods

• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders

• Promote social and emotional wellbeing among students

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate or eligible status

• Relevant university major or equivalent qualification

• Experience teaching at the intermediate level

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Current knowledge of educational technology
