We are looking for a passionate Writing Support Specialist who will provide academic assistance to students across varied subjects. This position emphasizes the importance of equity, diversity, and community as you interact with students and staff.

Your role will involve tutoring, facilitating workshops, and fostering a supportive learning environment at the Success Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer personalized tutoring and mentoring for students

• Build collaborative relationships with faculty and staff

• Promote campus workshops and cultural activities

• Ensure a welcoming Success Centre environment

• Invigilate student exams per established guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably focused on English

• Knowledge about Indigenous peoples and cultures

• Experience in Special Education preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
