Part-Time Lead Lab Instructor at Stenberg College

Become a pivotal part of Stenberg College’s educational team as a Part-Time Lead Lab Instructor for the Health Care Assistant Program. This role enhances hands-on student learning through dynamic lab instruction and support.

You will lead lab sessions while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for students. This position is ideal for those with two or more years of recent clinical experience, particularly in geriatric or multi-level care. Your responsibilities will include mentoring students and coordinating testing schedules to evaluate their performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lab and simulation sessions

• Support students through feedback and coaching

• Plan and oversee lab testing logistics

• Maintain lab organization and safety compliance

• Communicate student progress to faculty

Requirements:

• Full registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in relevant settings

• Strong facilitation and communication skills

• Ability to nurture adult learning engagement

• Teaching experience is an asset
