Inspire future psychiatric nurses as a Clinical Instructor at Stenberg College in Kamloops, BC. Leverage your nursing expertise to mentor students in their clinical practices through hands-on education.
Stenberg College is looking for an organized Registered Psychiatric Nurse to enhance its instructional faculty. You will be integral in a hybrid learning program, combining synchronous classes with lab simulations.
Your role includes supervising clinical practices, mentoring, and encouraging student growth and development throughout their education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide regulatory supervision during clinical practice
• Mentor students in patient care support
• Facilitate lab simulation experiences for learners
• Encourage student development and learning
• Collaborate with faculty on student assessments
Requirements:
• Active Registered Psychiatric Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Minimum 5 years of experience in psychiatric nursing
• Baccalaureate degree required;
Master’s preferred
• Robust software skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and mentorship abilities
