Location: Revelstoke
Become an AST 1 Instructor with Revelstoke Mountain Sports School this winter season. Share your passion for snow safety and teach engaging Avalanche Canada courses on-site.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort is seeking experienced instructors for the 2026/27 winter season. As a key member of the mountain sports team, you will lead AST 1 courses and provide a safe, enjoyable learning experience for guests.
Your role includes collaborating with snow school staff and adhering to Avalanche Canada's guidelines to enhance the curriculum and course effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead AST 1 courses both in class and on the snow
• Follow curriculum and classroom policies from Avalanche Canada/RMR
• Assist in developing AST 1 team and curriculum resources
• Coordinate with snow school staff regarding logistics and equipment
Requirements:
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Active CAA membership in good standing
• Completed Avalanche Operations 1 course
• Proven teaching experience in AST 1 courses
• Meet ongoing professional development criteria
