Position: Social Work Field Education Coordinator Role
Enhance practicum experience as the Field Education Coordinator at TRU's School of Social Work and Human Service. This pivotal role involves significant social work expertise and leadership.

In this full-time position, you will coordinate the field education for Bachelor of Social Work and Human Service Diploma programs, focusing on building relationships with social service providers and enhancing student learning. Your responsibilities will also include leading training and appreciation events for community partners and faculty mentors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and assess quality placements for students

• Organize placement procedures for diverse program years

• Lead orientations and training for agency supervisors

• Facilitate problem-solving during practicum sessions

• Evaluate progress within field education components

Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work required

• At least five years of social work practice experience

• Teaching background in post-secondary education

• Registration status with or intent to register with BCCSW

• Demonstrated leadership in social services
