The University and Employment Preparation Department is looking for a sessional faculty member to deliver Physics 0500, designed for students with minimal physics experience. This course develops critical problem-solving skills and provides a robust scientific foundation. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and possess significant teaching expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and supervise lab sessions for Physics 0500

• Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment

• Develop practical problem-solving skills among students

• Create curricula that respects cultural diversity

• Integrate Indigenous teachings where applicable
Requirements:

• Required Master’s degree in relevant field

• Teaching Diploma or substantial teaching experience

• Evidence of effective pedagogical practices

• Laboratory teaching experience a must

• Preferred: 5 years ABE science education experience
