Position: ECE Program Coordinator with LNIB
Location: Merritt

Lead early childhood education at Lower Nicola Indian Band School as an ECE Program Coordinator. Oversee programs that nurture children's development and strengthen family engagement.

This leadership position emphasizes developing children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. You will guide a team while ensuring adherence to policies and providing positive conflict resolution. Your responsibility includes creating an inclusive, respectful environment for children, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee services for children and maintain licensing compliance

• Develop and implement innovative child-care programs

• Facilitate respectful conflict resolution with parents and staff

• Plan and organize educational activities for school-age children

• Keep detailed records and lead staff meetings

Requirements:

• ECE Certificate and BC Registration

• 5 years of experience in early childhood education

• Valid First Aid certification

• Successful criminal record check

• Strong communication and leadership skills
