Teach in the Indigenous Early Childhood Education program at NVIT, starting September 2026. This term position focuses on optimal child and family development with an emphasis on Indigenous perspectives.
Become part of NVIT and share your expertise in early childhood education. Engage with students from diverse backgrounds while emphasizing holistic approaches to infant and family wellness. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in Indigenous health, child development, and community care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach modules in Indigenous Early Childhood Education program
• Support optimal growth of infants and families
• Integrate Indigenous perspectives in course delivery
• Foster collaborative relationships with students
• Commit to quality service and student outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s, Graduate degree or related credential
• Significant experience in early childhood development
• Knowledge of Indigenous perspectives and practices
• Strong teaching skills in post-secondary settings
• Understanding of Canada’s Indigenous history and impacts
