NVIT is seeking qualified Term Instructors for the Indigenous Business Diploma Program. Bring your teaching expertise and Indigenous perspectives to support future leaders in business education.
This role offers multiple teaching opportunities within various courses, such as Finite Mathematics for Business and Community Dynamics. Ideal candidates will possess a master’s degree, strong teaching skills, and a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures. You will contribute not only to classroom learning but also to the broader community through positive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses such as Community Evaluation and Indigenous Ethics
• Engage with Indigenous adult learners effectively
• Develop course materials and support student learning
• Build positive relationships within the Indigenous community
• Contribute to course offerings based on enrolment rates
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience teaching Indigenous adult learners
• Strong connections within Indigenous communities
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and practices
• Demonstrated excellent teaching and human relations skills
