Position: Coordinator for Métis Family Wellness Programs
Elevate family wellness in a hybrid role as the Healthy Family Program Coordinator. This opportunity focuses on culturally relevant nutrition education and actively supports Métis families with young children.

In this full-time hybrid position, you will lead the development and delivery of programs that enhance nutrition, food literacy, and family wellness among Métis families. Engaging with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community partners is essential to promote healthy eating and early childhood development through culturally grounded learning resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refine the Métis Food Program Framework based on community feedback

• Conduct research to identify challenges in food initiatives

• Support community-driven leadership and program development

• Organize engagement sessions for Métis families

• Coordinate workshops on nutrition and traditional cooking skills

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field

• 3 years of relevant program coordination experience

• Understanding of Métis culture and food systems

• Excellent project management and communication skills

• Ability to travel for engagement and program site visits
