Elevate Indigenous education at NVIT as a Community Education Liaison in Merritt, BC. This full-time role combines program management and administrative support to foster community learning initiatives.
As a Community Education Liaison, you will support the Community Education Manager in delivering effective programs. This position values your administrative expertise and capacity to engage with Indigenous adult learners. You'll play a key role in coordinating course schedules, handling proposals, and aiding faculty and student interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing program delivery proposals
• Coordinate travel arrangements and support needs
• Facilitate effective project management
• Oversee trades trailers and mobile labs logistics
• Resolve programming inquiries and challenges
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• At least three years in administrative roles
• Strong project management abilities
• Knowledgeable about Indigenous education trends
• Excellent communication and networking skills
